1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium onions (chopped)
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons taco seasoning*
32 oz of beef broth
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 (8oz) package of cream cheese
1 tablespoon dried cilantro
Method
Cook the ground beef then drain out excess fat. Add the onions and cook for about 4 minutes with the beef, then add the garlic and cook a minute longer. Add half of the taco seasoning and combine it with the beef mixture.
Add the meat mixture to the crockpot. Pour in the beef broth, tomatoes, dried cilantro and remaining taco seasoning. Add the cream cheese and combine. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours
Top with cheese, fresh cilantro and sour cream
My Homemade Taco Seasoning*
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
I made it today only used 14 ounce can beef broth and 3lb ground beef. My husband was eating with nachos didn’t want it to soupy. He and I loved it thanks
