I love wings. One of the things I used to do in my high carb days was go to Wing To Go. This was a fast food place here in Philadelphia and I would usually get the garlic Parmesan wings. Since my life style change to low carb, I now make my favorite wings at home. These Garlic Parmesan Wings are Atkins Induction Friendly and good for all phases of the Atkins Diet. Enjoy~
8 whole chicken wings
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
Cut the chicken wings at the joints and discard the tip. Season the chicken with garlic powder, cumin, oregano and salt. Place the wings in a deep fryer and fry for 10-12 minutes.
Note: If baking these wings, bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Turn at the 30 minute mark.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Sauce;
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
dash of black pepper
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
In a bowl mix the melted butter with the garlic powder, salt, onion powder and black pepper. Pour butter mixture over the chicken pieces and mix in. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the chicken. Serve immediately.

Hi Sonija! Welcome! I would recommend Dr. Eric Berg on youtube. He is amazing and explains the Ketogenic diet in detail. Your knee injury sounds very painful, I wish you a speedy recovery. For me the Keto is the way to go because it also reduces inflammation in the body.
Hi I just wanted to say I love your recipes. I came across your Roku channel and I am hooked. I need to have knee surgery but have to lose weight first. My knee is getting so bad I can hardly walk. I have a torn meniscus and osteoarthritis in my knee. I recently started with low carb/keto and I’ve been looking for good recipes to keep me motivated. I would love any advice you can give me. Thank you for being such a great inspiration
I hope you enjoyed it, its one of my fav:)
I.m trying garlic parmesan wings recipe for this evening i.ll send the result later Mr steven dobbins
These came out great! I mixed them in the sauce and

them back in the oven for 5 minutes.
Hey Connie, I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the recipe. I am not sure how it would work with chicken tenders, worth giving it a try for sure:)
Hi Jay, tried this recipe and it was delicious. I was wondering if you could use chicken strips versus wings? Patiently waiting your response
Connie
I use dried oregano.
Hello are these made with fresh oregano or dried .. Thanks ?
Yes, I have. When baking the wings bake on a oven rack and not directly on the pan to acheive the best results.
Love all your recipes, I have been eating low carb for over a year, and have lost 45 pounds. I want to lose 30 more, but am at a standstill. Have you ever baked the wings instead of frying? I will try this recipe. Thanks
Hi Dean, I am not really sure, I have never used a smoker. If you do try it on a smoker please come back and let me know how it turns out.
I’m thinking this recipe could be done on a smoker too. What do you think?
Thanks so much Cathy, new recipes are coming up soon. Stay tuned: )
I have been searching the internet for low carb recipes to bring some diversity to my low carb lifestyle and I can’t wait to make these….There is a woman here that questions that is is not low carb but it absolutely is (no sugar, flour etc)…and someone said you didn’t add the cumin (think it was the same person)…watch the video again…she did….Thanks Jay, I will be bookmarking your site…:)
Hi Sharon,
I am not sure why you have a disbelieve in this recipe being low carb(please explain), also butter has no carb. I will update the directions to include the cumin, thanks for the heads up.
Oops typo meant to be much less low in carbs .
Hay J you never answered the question about the cumin and why it’s listed as an ingredient but not used . Also I’m having a hard time believing that this recipe is low in anything much less care as my number one element is a factor butter!
